Lord Help My Momma
I love the woman, I really do. But for some ungodly reason she thinks I wake up when the roosters do. Oh hell no I don’t. I sleep with a sleeping mask on just to keep my eyes from seeing a hint of sunshine in the wee hours of the morning. Yes siree I sure do. Now we were supposed to go see her today. She calls me at 7:30 in the morning. Then after asking if I was awake (duh) said she just wanted to let me know not to come out today because her air is messed up and the pool pump isn’t working so there’s no reason to come out. Then she goes into this long spill about how she doesn’t want Wild Child to get out there and get too hot and have an asthma attack. I said OK.
I decided since my eyes were subjected to the evils of early morning sunlight that I would go outside, enjoy the early morning (that I rarely see during the summer) and talk with her on the phone. But let me tell you as soon as I said bye, I took my happy little ass back to bed and put my sleeping mask back in place and went back to bed. The only thing is, I knew it was daylight outside, therefore I just laid there. Never did go back to a deep sleep, I think I dozed a few times, but nothing major.
I’m gonna have to have a talk with her tomorrow and explain that I have a little over a week left of my vacation and not to ring my phone so freakin’ early in the morning. ( If I don’t forget)
So I am semi off duty
Today has been just one of those blah days where I haven’t really wanted to even look the the computer. I have gotten on a few times and looked around then went back to doing something else. Sometimes the internet can become so time consuming. Tomorrow may be another day like today because I’m supposed to go visit my mother and pick up my goodies she picked up for me in the Smokey Mountains. So if you don’t hear from me, don’t fret.. I will resume daily activities sooner or later 
Stupid ATM
I hate these little contraptions of pure evilness. I went to withdraw some money a little bit ago and the damn thing is broken. It wouldn’t be such a problem if that wasn’t the only ATM around here. Sure I could have gotten off my ass and drove 20 miles to the next one only to turn right back around and come back to get mine and Shorty’s hair cut. Didn’t see the point. So I’m still a shaggy mess thanks to the stupid ATM!!!
Have you ever watched Paula Deen or Emeril Lagasse and thought to yourself how you would love to have their jobs? I know I have. I love Paula Deen and all her southerness. But for many of the Chefs you see on TV they didn’t learn their skills over night. Many of them had dreams and went to culinary school like the one at Chefs.edu website.
Some of the most prominent Chefs in the world started out with an aspiration and turned it into a reality by going to culinary school. Many schools have financial aid that you can get help with. You can also apply online. That in itself is great. But what is really great is that if you have a dream you can achieve anything your heart desires. As long as you want it bad enough.
I feel yucky
I have been doing so good on my diet. Then tonight I made a major mistake. I baked me some broccoli and cheese nuggets and now I feel so sick. We walked this afternoon and climbed a pretty steep hill and I think I got too hot. I’m doing pretty good so far. I did splurge tonight thought with a small glass of chocolate milk. That may be the reason I can’t sleep tonight too

I have heard of horror stories from people who have stayed in cities all around the world. Some talk of how expensive a place is or how friendly the people are. One of my dream places is London. I have always had a fascination with it. I have had friends that I met online that lived in London and told me stories of the place. It’s on my must do list before I die. Plus I’m a sucker for the English accent.
Did you know that Moscow is one of the most expensive cities in the world? I truly had no idea. I guess I always think of Moscow like in the movies or in history books. I never would have dreamed that their cost of living was so high. Who would have thought that?

Great Friends and Good Times
You know there’s something about having great friends that can cheer you up and brighten the gloomiest of days. For the first time in my life, I feel like I have a group of friends that understand me and don’t try to take my friendship for granted. Thanks you guys and gals, you are simply the best!!!
I want to be a pastry chef
I’m a southern gal. I love to cook. I love to try to find new recipes or come up with something from nothing to create a masterpiece. When I was about 15 I started working at a seafood restaurant. I loved watching them come up with their platters. At that time I wanted to become a chef and attend culinary school somewhere. Since my family is originally from Texas the Texas Culinary Academy site looks awful tempting. I know you are never too old to go to school right?
But now that I am older, I would love to be a pastry chef. Just to come up with all those desserts that involve chocolate. LOL, I have seen some amazing pastry chefs on TV and admire them and their work. I know that that kind of skill takes dedication and a lot of work. And believe you me, I am very dedicated to chocolate. Just ask my husband.
Have you ever felt totally alone in the world? Like no one totally understands you. They pretend to be so sympathetic and full of empathy but you know that they don’t have a clue? The last few days I have been struggling with so much within myself and my surroundings. I pretend that it’s all ok and that it’s no big deal. But it is. I am just having a bad day. Sorry to be such a downer.
