I love viewing pictures from where someone lives. It gives me a glimpse into their world. Opal shared hers when she was tagged by Andy Bailey’s PhotoShow: 100 meters. It’s pretty simple. Just take photos of what you see 100 meters from your home. Since I was tagged, I thought I would play along. I love to take photos anyways. But this is what I see outside around my home.
Now for the Rules:
1. Take photos up to 100 meters from your place
2. Add your name to the original list linking to the post you’ve created.
3. Tag as many friends as you like
Once you’re done, add you name to the list:
- Andy Bailey of FiddyP
- Lalla-Mira of Lalla-Mira.com
- Opal Tribble of VeganMomma.com
- Pelf of Pelf-ism is contagious
- Sassy of The Sassy Southerner
First up we have my shadow.. aka Shorty. Every time I go outside she’s right behind me. Doesn’t she look so cute in her Rugrats gown that she’s outgrown but refuses to part with?

YAY!!! I will do this sunday when I have the house to myself! It will be hard since there is so much to take pictures of!
Great, I look forward to seeing it!!
I really like the one with the sun shining through the trees, it makes me want to know what they sound like on a breezy day.
the berries look great too, what camera are you using?
Thanks for stopping by Andy. I have a Sony Cybershot H2. Not much but works for me.
It’s great seeing what your virtual buddies see on a daily basis. Andy came up with a great tag!
I love the pictures. It looks so peaceful. Are you up for another one? I’ll be doing one later this weeken or the beginning of next.
Absolutely. I love getting tagged.
It is so peaceful in the country. I don’t imagine that I could ever live in the city.
lol you and I both..ok I do I lived in the city for about eight years in my twenties but I’m glad to be back “home”.
I take my statement back. I have lived in the city, just not very long. Once in Kentucky and when I moved in with my grandmother, but it didn’t last long.
Thanks for the tag, I’ll get mine up in the next couple of days.
Those hay bales remind me of the fields down the road a couple of miles that they call Greenbriar Bottoms. It about the only flat stretch of land here for miles.
Take your time.
We are surrounded my hills here, it’s a PITA when it rains and if heaven forbid it ices. When it ices over, we are stranded.

Hi! I put up a link to this your PhotoShow in my post too.
Shorty looks a lot like a niece of mine, especially because of her beautiful hair.
The berries look like some small tomatoes we have here in Morocco.
Thanks for the link Lalla. This was fun. Shorty used to have long hair until I had it cut for school. Thanks for stopping by!!
Good shots Sassy, it’s a great way to see what others see on a daily basis and may even take for granted to some degree…
You are exactly right. We take it for granted that we do have a place to stay. We have a roof over our heads. It’s not much but it’s my little place in the world!!
Hi,
Opal tagged me – on my photo blog and I stopped by to see what others had posted. We live in the country, too, in Arkansas, and some of your pictures look like they could have been taken down the road a ways from us. I’ll stop by an let you know hwn I’ve posted mine.
Hi Mike, Thanks for stopping by. I am looking forward to your pictures. What part of Arkansas do you live in if you don’t mind me asking?
I posted mine, too. Different blog than I usually use to comment, but that’s the one Opal tagged.
I looked at your pictures again, and they sure do look a lot like what I see when I drive down some of the roads around here.
Take care!
We live on the southern edge of the Ozarks about 70 miles west of Little Rock.
