I get busy for a few days and Google the Goober smoocher decided to give me a big fat whopping ZERO page rank. Some people say oh don’t worry about it. Well I will be 100% honest with you. For me page rank = my income. I do all my work from home to take care of my family. Plus I have social anxiety and do not do well in public places. Therefore I work from home. I have decided to write a letter to Google.
Dear Google,
I would like to thank you for screwing me over. I have supported you by putting your stupid ass Adsense crap up that virtually hasn’t made me any money. I have used your Google Reader, your email service (which even though I despise you, I will continue to use), and used your search engine every day. And yet, you want to penalize me for trying to support my family? For trying to feed my kids and keep the electricity going so they are warm at night. Now thanks to your exaggerated ego, my kids won’t have a good Christmas. I won’t be able to afford what they want and have to settle for what I can afford. And you don’t have the balls to explain to me why you have chose to do this.
But that’s OK Goober smoocher, I will manage to get by some way, some how. I will not let you deter me from providing for my family. I will not let you break my spirit. As of right now, I will not allow your crappy Adsense to be a part of my blog. I will not use your Google Reader. I will use the email because I can’t afford to change right now. You know Google they say Karma is a bitch.. and she sure is. You will get what you have reaped on several people that you have screwed over.

They SUCK….A few months ago….I was a FIVE (remember?) then a 3, now a 2….I know I am a slacker lately….but I wasn’t when they kicked me down from 5 to 2…they suck…hang in there girlfriend…love ya

You’ll be fine. They have screwed so many people over this time, that it will sure have some concequences for them.
And stop using their mailservice!! There are a lot of alternatives out there.

They put the beat down on a lot of blogs. I have eight websites only two of them do I write the occasional review.
I would say think of ways that you can monetize website without depending on Google. The majority of my money is maid via affiliate marketing. I make more with that than with Adsense and sponsored reviews combined. Direct sales is another option by low sell high. I’m getting ready to get into that. I’ll be purchasing products wholesale from a company and reselling them on Ebay. I’ve done very well with Ebay. I’ll be writing a review about my experience with the wholesale company once I purchase the products and receive them.
Even with a PR of 0 I’m still able to generate income simply because I don’t depend solely on them for traffic and I decided to look for other options besides paid posts.
I hope it doesn’t affect your income. I did read that PPP is using a different system to determine ranking. Sponsored Reviews already does something similar. I know I’ve gotten higher ranking with SR based on the reviews i have done. My past reviews have been paying me at least $100.
Thanks for the input Opal, as always I value your opinions. I, myself don’t care for selling on Ebay. I have one person that I work for without the middleman. He’s really good to me and I value him a lot for helping me out. PPP sounds promising if it doesn’t mess up. PU2B is great. They are steadily giving out contextual links for me just to drop in a regular post. LOVE THAT. I don’t get much work from Sponsored Review.
Never fear though, The Sassy Southerner isn’t gonna lay down without a fight. LOL. As my grandmother used to say “If the Good Lords willing and the creek don’t rise” I’m not going to disappoint my kids…hopefully.
