I’m one smart cookie

Yep, I am one smart cookie. I think things out. I plan ahead. Because what’s happening in the moment most likely won’t be there in a couple of hours. That’s what ran through my head this morning after I called and made Shorty another Doctors appointment. You see I have been taking pictures of her breaking out. I know that the whelps on her arms do not last very long. So I printed off pictures to take with me to prove I’m not crazy. The Doc was very impressed with me. Woo Hoo!!

The Doc told us that she believes she has Urticaria I already figured that out though. She told us that she did not believe that she’s breaking out because of any medicine she’s been on or water. But she knows she’s allergic to something, just not certain exactly to what. So she put her on Claritin for one month and Benadryl every night for a week. If it doesn’t clear up and she continues to break out after a month, she’s sending her to an allergist. 

We have noticed a pattern though that we discussed with her. Every time she eats something red, she whelps up. So for the next month, we have to keep a journal of everything she eats or drinks. We also have to take photos and keep up with what she done or touched that may have caused the reaction. I can do that. I will do that to make sure my baby is safe. And the information will also help if she has to go to an allergist.

The little turd muffin got another free day from school. UGH. I was so prepared to check her in for the day. So she’s outside playing right now with Cricket. I told her she can help me finish cleaning out the garden here shortly.  I think the Doc is just trying to punish me. LOL So that’s how my day’s been how is yours going?
