As a mother, I’m always prepared for whatever ailments my children throw at me. I have seen some strange things like Uticaria, rust color places that won’t go away and Eczema. Shorty has battle with Eczema for a very long time. From the time she was born, her skin always felt very scaly and rough to the touch. As the got older, she would have the places that were rough as sandpaper appear on her body. She would cry with it itching and burning so bad. So upon a trip to the Dr, they informed us that she had Eczema. They told me to keep her skin thoroughly moisturized and to use certain soaps and stuff to lessen the occurrence of flare ups for her.

I have tried so much over the counter stuff and it either just didn’t work or was too greasy. So I was asked to try Skin MD. I had already heard about it from a friend and was told that I should really try it. So I contacted them and said I would love to review it for them. And I’m really glad I did.

When the package came yesterday I was taking a nap, so hubby laid the box beside the bed. I laid there with anticipation and peeked on eye open and decided what the heck, let’s try it. So I opened the box, put some of the lotion on my hands. I was expecting it to feel slimy and greasy and to my surprise, it felt very smooth, calming and silky. But the real test would be with Shorty.

I called her over to the couch today and put a little (because a little goes a very long way) on her legs, she told how good it felt. Then she proceeds to tell me that she believes she has eczema on her arms, so I put lotion on her arms. Then it was her back and lastly her belly. When I was finished, I had applied lotion from her eyebrows to the tips of her toes. She told me that her whole body felt so good. That’s a big thing with a 7 year old.

I asked her how did she like it and she said ‘It makes my skin feel smooth and not rough. I love it’. So if you or a loved one suffers from Eczema or dry skin I would recommend using Skin MD. You will enjoy the smooth calming feeling of the lotion and not have to deal with a greasy gooey mess. It’s a new staple in my household.
