Today I’m hoping for a new beginning. Not for me. For my husband. We got the call yesterday that his new custom contacts are in. Now we just have to get there and try them out.
I am super excited. I don’t think anyone out there can comprehend the magnitude of excitement I have. I ask him if he’s excited and he says “Nope”. He doesn’t want to get his hopes up only to have them crushed. That is something we have been though many times with various eye specialist.
He’s been connecting with people with the same problems he has. Some of them are wearing the same contacts he’s getting. Many of them have had great success and have been able to return to a more normal life. Many of them have been able to drive themselves and at night time too. That in itself is amazing.
So I ask all of you to keep him in your thoughts, prayers or whatever you do today. Please keep your fingers crossed that this is the miracle we have been waiting for for almost 14 years. Thanks!!
