I have lived in the country pretty much my entire life. I have heard just about every sound there is to hear. But tonight I had the crap scared out of me. I was minding my own business goofing around on Google maps and I called hubby in here because I thought I heard someone humming outside the living room window. This is actually what I heard. You may laugh freely.
If you notice me pausing during the video, it was because I was really scared one was gonna scoop down and peck me or something. I was trying to hear if they were getting closer to me. This is the first time I have ever heard the little hoot owls at night. I have seen them, but never heard them. There’s an old wives tale that if you hear one hooting at night to twist the corner of your bed sheet and he will die. I also heard that hearing them is a sign of death. Damn now I scared my own self. I don’t wanna sleep now. Pray they don’t get me.

I made it through the night Angry. The owls didn’t get me. It was just an eerie sound in the living room last night.
As I listened I came to understand that I could also hear the beautiful tones of a songbird softly singing it’s way in to my soul… then I realised it was your voice I was hearing…
Song bird, that’s more like crow. LOL. I have a horrible southern accent. I hate it.

Why thank you Jenny. Loved the pun. All hubby could do is shake his head at me. For a second I thought I was in an episode of Ghost Hunters. It was really weird.
I like accent. You sound like my roommate from college. She was from Kentucky.
I lived in Kentucky for a month. Hated it and came back to Alabama. They made fun of my accent.
